WHAT IS THIS FUND? -

The Maynooth Students’ Union (MSU) has allocated money towards a Childcare Fund in order to assist student parents during their time at college with the costs of childcare. Undergraduate students contributing towards the cost of childcare are entitled to apply. Any amount awarded is a once off payment and not a loan. Applications are available from your Maynooth Students’ Union on the North Campus.

WHAT DATE CAN I APPLY FOR THE FUND?

Applications will open at Midday Monday 18th September 2017 and close at Midday Friday 27th October 2017.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Undergraduate students with a child who are paying towards the cost of childcare are entitled to apply.

What is covered?

A contribution towards the cost of childcare during the academic term.

HOW TO APPLY?

You can apply by filling out the Online Form. A list of required documentation will be detailed on the form itself. A Committee chaired by the Students’ Union Welfare Officer reviews all applications.

HOW IS FUNDING PAID? -

Payment will be made either directly to the student or to the childcare provider.
